HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get Ready for a Fascinating Journey

This website invites you to embark on a fascinating journey through 20 centuries of the history of the universal Church, reliving key moments that took place in the Eternal City. You will discover little-known but historically significant places and, above all, learn about men and women whose lives have left a profound mark on monuments and locations.

How many videos are there?

Each month, we add 2-3 new videos, advancing chronologically, era by era. By June 2025, we will reach the Renaissance, and you will have access to 67 videos. The project will be completed in June 2026, with around 90 videos, covering twenty centuries of history.

Are there itineraries?

If you're planning a unique trip to Rome or are already in the city, you can explore the Itineraries we suggest. You can choose to visit places related to Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the homes where saints lived throughout the centuries, the sites where the first Christians, evangelizers, and martyrs lived, and much more. We will continue to add new itineraries.

A Mini Course on Church History in Rome

If you have time and want to delve deeper, we recommend watching the complete series Imparare Roma, from which the clips on this website are taken. Each episode lasts between 5 and 10 minutes and covers a specific historical topic. They follow a chronological order and include a brief introduction to better contextualize the content. When the series is complete in June 2026, you will have access to a mini course on the history of the Church in Rome with 27 videos.
