THE MOVING LIFE OF SAINT AGNES

2:07

Discover the story of one of Rome’s most famous martyrs: Saint Agnes, a teenager who loved and defended her purity in the face of great trials. She was condemned to prostitution, a fate suffered by many young women even today. Refusing to comply, she was sentenced to death. We’ll visit the Church of Saint Agnes in Agone, in Piazza Navona, designed by Borromini, where one of her relics is kept.
